How it works

Each sheet carries two pages, so the sheets are the pages divided by two, rounded up. The spine is the number of sheets × the thickness of one sheet, plus whatever the printer adds (for board or glue, for example).

Paper thickness and allowances depend on paper and binding: ask your printer for them. The tool adds no values of its own.
